Obituary
Clyde Roy Hand, Jr., 47, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011.
Born in Macon, GA, he was the son of Sonja Brackin Hand of Webb, AL and the late Clyde R. Hand. He attended Prentiss Church of God. Clyde was a painter and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Patty Akey; five children, Chance Hand of Webb, AL, Brittney Hand and Casey Hand both of Texas, Krissy Haddan and Justin Haddan; brother, Quitman Hand of Kingstree, SC; two sisters, Teresa Hand Cherry and Heather Hand Knight both of Webb, AL ; four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, at Webb Baptist Cemetery, Webb, Alabama.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the local arrangements.
