Obituary
Clyde Vester Hicks, 84, of Franklin, passed away Monday, February 11, 2013.
Born in Atlanta, GA, he was the son of the late Frank Carpenter Hicks, Sr. and Minnie Glendora Williard Hicks. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dolly Hicks who died in 2004. Clyde was a pastor for many years in the Presbyterian Church. He was well loved by his family and friends.
He is survived by a brother, Bill Hicks and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 15th, at Clayton Presbyterian Church. Rev. Dr. Wendell Craker and Rev. Kenneth Meeks will officiate. Interment will be in the Oakwood Memorial Park in High Point, NC.
