Clyda Mae Campbell Spicola Smith, 78, of Franklin, passed away Friday, March 29, 2013.

Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Ted and Edna Angel Campbell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Smith who died October 25, 2007. Clyda was a member of Iotla United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Carol Spicola of Franklin; a son, Lawrence Spicola of Rochester, NY; two brothers, Fred Campbell and Joe Campbell both of Franklin; two sisters, Shirley Shepherd of Franklin and Jean Thong of Columbia, SC; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, April 1, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Randy Campbell will officiate. Burial will be in the Iotla United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Monday, at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Adam Spicola, Mike Shepherd, Kenneth Shepherd, Jr., Brandon Shepherd, Tyler Shepherd, Tanner Shepherd, Rick Hetzel and Rick Campbell.
