Clifford E. Cyphers,79, of Winston Salem, NC, formerly of Franklin, NC passed away Thursday, February 21, 2008.

Born in Pittsburg, PA he was the son of the late Clifford E. Cyphers Sr. and Emma Hodkinson Cyphers. He was married to the late Audrey Waas Cyphers who passed away February 3, 2008. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Sylva, NC and Berean Baptist Church in Winston Salem, NC.

He is survived by one daughter, Linda Barbara Cyphers Sherwood and husband George, of Winston Salem; one son, Clifford A. Cyphers and wife Noreen, of Franklin; three grandchildren, Brian S. Sherwood of Winston Salem; David M. Sherwood and wife Tiffany, Joseph M. Cyphers; and one great grandson, Jackson R. Campbell all of Franklin.

Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, February 23, at Victory Baptist Church in Sylva. Rev. Benny Bagwell and Rev. Ron Baity will officiate. Burial will be in Victory Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, February 22, at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Cliff A. Cyphers, George Sherwood, Brian Sherwood, David Sherwood, Joseph Cyphers, and Michael Waters.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston Salem, NC 27103.
