Clark Suttle, 69, of Newnan, GA, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014.
A native of Macon County, he was the son of the late Clinton Suttle and Berdie Clark Suttle. Clark was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam Era; a retired chemist with Porex Technologies in Fairburn, GA; active member of St. Matthews Catholic Church in Tyrone, GA; district deputy of the Knights of Columbus; Eucharistic Minister; member of the Parish Council and an enthusiastic gardener.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Eva Welch Suttle of Newnan; daughter, Lisa Suttle Tippens and her husband, Richard of Fayetteville, GA; three brothers, Lonnie Ray Suttle of Ft. Myers, FL; Daniel Dean Suttle of Waterford, MI and Larry Suttle of Marion, NC; two grandchildren, Madison and Zachary; three sister-in-laws, Joyce Elliott, Elizabeth "Boots" Bates and Jean Blaine all of Franklin and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 9th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery with military rites conducted by the VFW Post 7339 and the American Legion Post 108.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Monday, prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Samuel Wallace, Logan Wallace, Greg Wallace, Todd Bates, Michael Bryson and Richard Tippens.
