Clarice Lillian Luke Witt, 77, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014.
Born in Thomasville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Moses Jacob Luke and Mandy Luvenia Barksdale Luke. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Alderman; brother, Dorsey Luke and sisters, Virginia Hendley and Ann White. Clarice enjoyed going to flea markets, yard sales and thrift shops. She loved her family and friends immensely and loved living in the beautiful Smoky Mountains. She was a member of Springhill Christian Church in Ochlocknee, GA.
She is survived by four children, Daneeta "Danni" Hooks of the home, Becky Still of Mableton, GA, Pamala Fallin and husband Jimmy of Leary, GA and Yolanda Childers and husband Tony of Hiram, GA; sister, Doris Brock of Franklin; sister-in-law, Norma Luke of Ocala, FL; seven grandchildren, Jamie Winkles, Blake Byrd, Ashley Still, Aaron Peek, Matthew Peek, Jimmy Fallin, II and Stefanie Childers; thirteen great-grandchildren; special friends, Pat Brendle and Shirley Francisco and her beloved cat, Boots.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 28th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Vic Greene will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
At the family's request, please wear casual clothing. Please no black.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Winkles, Tony Childers, Jimmy Fallin I, Jimmy Fallin II, Aaron Peek and Blake Byrd.
