Obituary
Clarice Lorraine Martz, 89, of Franklin, passed away Monday, April 27, 2015.
Born in Boxholm, IA, she was the daughter of the late George Harrison and Irene Jondle Harrison. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Byron Martz and a sister, Alice Rosenau. Clarice attended Cowee Baptist Church and she enjoyed quilting, needle point and playing bridge.
She is survived by two children, Sharon Dailey and husband Michael of Franklin and Greg Martz of Pagosa Springs, CO; two sisters, Margaret Waugh of Davenport, IA and Fran Gunderson of Bull Shoals, AR; one brother, John Harrison of San Antonio, TX; two grandchildren, Emily Waldroup of Andrews, NC and Christopher Dailey of Des Moines, IA; three great grandchildren, Addison Waldroup, Jackson Waldroup and Brooks Dailey; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am Saturday, May 16, at Rockwell City United Methodist Church, 333 Brower Street, Rockwell City, Iowa 50579.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
