Clarence Tallent Jr, 45, of Franklin passed away Monday, May 20, 2019.

Born and raised in Franklin, he was the son of Clarence Tallent Sr. (Catherine) and the late Hazel Mae Conhiser Pannell. He had two passions in his life; his career at Millis Transfer and being with his beloved family. He was a member of First Baptist Church where he enjoyed helping with the Community Meal. Clarence also enjoyed cooking and was known and loved by many.

In addition to his father and stepmother, he is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca Houston Tallent of Franklin; children, Devan Tallent (Jenine) of Burnsville, NC, Dakota Tallent of Prattville, AL, Ivry Tallent of Franklin, Jordyn Sanford of Franklin, and Alex Sanford of Franklin; sister, Lisa Tallent of Clayton, GA; uncle, Frank Conhiser of Franklin; grandson, Blayze Harwood of Weaverville, NC; and two nieces, Sydney Shirley and Andrea Shirley, both of Clayton, GA.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, May 25 at First Baptist Church. Rev. Jack Jarrett and Rev. Blake Arnold will officiate.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at First Baptist Church.
