Obituary
Clarence Lee Cody, Jr., 70, of Franklin, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2012.
Born in Thomasville, NC, he was the son of the late Clarence Lee Cody, Sr. and Viola Turner Cody and a number of brothers and sisters. He was a member of Black Mountain Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Amy Sue Ledford Cody; a son, Brian Keith Cody; daughter, Donna Sue Grant and husband Chris all of Franklin; sister, Betty Floyd of Thomasville, NC; four grandchildren, Cameron Wayne Cody, Braden Lee Cody, Chastity Marie Davis and Summery Ann Davis and one step grandchild, Kaitlyn Shephard.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, at Black Mountain Baptist Church. Rev. Eddie Stillwell, Rev. Ernie Jamison and Rev. Kael Stencil will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 1, at Macon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Herman Elkins, Joe Sisti, Jeff Clark, David Price, Michael Carpenter, Jamie Passmore, Todd McConnell and Elbert McConnell.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
