Obituary
Claire Marie Stevens, 71, of Franklin, NC passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2008.
Born in West Springfield, Mass., she was the daughter of the late John M. Hussey and Alexina M. Boulerice Hussey. She worked for the Shriner's Hospital as a Medical Transcriptionist. She lived most of her life in West Springfield, Mass. Claire attended St. Francis Catholic Church in Franklin and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Hudson, FL.
She is survived by husband of 25 years, David Stevens; three children, Diane, Denise and John Michael; two step children, Charlaina and Susan; two sisters, Janet and Doris; one brother, Donald; several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass was held at 9 a.m. Friday, June 6, at St. Francis Catholic Church. Father Matthew Kauth officiated.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society PO Box 1648, Franklin, NC 28744.
