Cynthia "Cindy" Flynn Crane, 47, of Franklin, passed away Friday, September 2, 2011.
Born in Clinton, NC, she was the daughter of Jimmy Flynn and step-mother, Nancy of Albemarle, NC and Linda Owens Leder and step-father, Robert of Whiteville, NC. Cindy was very active with Relay-for-life and fought a courageous battle with breast cancer for eleven years. She loved her animals, friends and family immensely. Cindy will be greatly missed by all and be remembered as a survivor. She was a member of Central Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents and step-parents, she is survived by her husband of 25 years, Eddie Crane; two daughters, Stephanie Crane and fiancé Shawn Bowles and Ashley Crane; two sisters, Carla Ketola of Iron Station, NC and Pam Lanier of Lillington, NC and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 5 in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Gary McCoy and Rev. Vic Greene will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Sunday, September 4 at Macon Funeral Home.
