Christopher Loren Smith, 24, of Franklin, passed away Friday, June 22, 2007.
Born in Las Vegas, Nevada, he was the son of Ed Smith and Sandy Curtis Smith. Chris worked for Precision Wood; he was a musician and loved playing his guitar; he was and artist; and enjoyed working on hot rods.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by grandfather Charles Curtis, Jr.; brother, James Smith of Sylva; beloved friend, Whitney Cappetti; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Bruce Merriman will officiate. Burial will be in the Hickory Knoll Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Mathis, Seth Williamson, Matt Waldroup, Herb Waldroup, Kevin Stevenson and Derrick Mason.
