Christine Anne Johnson Ordway, 45, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2009.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of Patricia Anne Horgan Johnson of Franklin and the late Robert I. Johnson. Christine was a gifted artist who attended the Art Institute of Chicago on a scholarship and a former member of the Macon County Art Association of Franklin; she was an accomplished musician and enjoyed working with special needs children while living in Tampa. Christine was a wild life activist and nature lover who enjoyed the mountains of Western North Carolina and exploring them with her beloved husband, Les.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Les Ordway and a sister, Selenie Anne Johnson of St. Petersburg, FL.
