Obituary
Charles Edward Ledford, 59, of Franklin, passed away Monday, March 12, 2012.
Born in Swain, NC, he was the son of the late Grady Furman Ledford and Eula Buchanan Ledford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Ann Simonds and two brothers, Calvin and J.A. Ledford. Charles was a US Army veteran and served during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed to fish.
He is survived by three children, Jonathan Ledford of Franklin, Alicia Ledford and Jordan David Ledford both of Gastonia, NC; four sisters, Beulah Bunger of Nebraska, Learlene Ledford, Carmen Cline and Christine Watkins all of Bryson City; brother, Roger Lee Ledford of Bryson City and four grandchildren.
