Charles "Chuck" E. Tomlinson, Jr., 81, of Franklin, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2012.

Born in Blue Field, WV, he was the son of the late Charles E. Tomlinson, Sr. and Sarah Dorothy Stephens Tomlinson. Chuck attended Ohio State University and worked as an accountant. He was a member of the Junaluskee Masonic Lodge, Smoky Mountain Shrine Club and the American Legion Post 108. He was an avid pilot and loved to fly his own plane.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Carolyn R. Tomlinson; daughter, Kristin Ivins and husband Ed of Orlando, FL; brother, Ronald Tomlinson of Phoenix, AZ; granddaughter, Jennifer Brigham and husband Christopher and two great-grandchildren, Cadyn Taylor and Zachary Brigham.

Funeral Mass will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, December 14th, at St. Francis Catholic Church. Father Tien Duong will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
