Obituary
Charles Kenneth Houston, 59, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012.
Born in Macon Co., he was the son of the late Elbert Houston and Eva Nell Clark Houston. Charlie was a carpenter and member of Riverview Methodist Church.
He is survived by three sisters, Rita Ann Wood of Clemmons, NC, Patricia Houston of Clemmons, NC and Barbara Lynch and husband Wayne of Franklin; three nephews and one niece.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, January 22 in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Stacy Woods and Rev. Johnny Norris will officiate. Burial will be in Lackey Methodist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Clark, Dewey Houston, Terry Wood, Joshua Lynch, Billy Houston and Mike Ramsey.
Memorial donations can be made to Angel Home Health and Hosptice, 170 Church St. Franklin, NC 28734.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
