Chandra Eicher, 78, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2017.

Chandra was an artist, poet, author, seriographer, amateur play director and stage manager and a member of the Belfry Players and Nantahala Players. Mrs. Eicher studied journalism at Indiana University-Perdu University Indianapolis and was a longtime employee of the Franklin Press. Born in Indianapolis, IN, she was the daughter of the late Kiefer Ober and Virginia Ober. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an ex-husband Dan Eicher and a son, Duane Eicher.

She is survived by a son, Christopher (Andy) Eicher of Bakersfield, CA; daughter, Catrina Brewer of Cocoa, FL; sister, Eleanor (Lani) Czyzewski of Tampa, FL, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

No services are planned.

In lieu of flowers, she would want one to make a donation of a goat to a third-world family or a coat to someone who was cold.
