Obituary
Catherine Ann"Kitty" Drengwitz, 87, of Franklin, passed away on Saturday, June 08, 2013.
Born in Springfield, IL, she was the daughter of the late James Marren and Mary Ryan Marren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Drengwitz who died July 25, 2008; brothers, John Marren and James Marren, sister, Margaret Marren and brother-in-law, Robert Drengwitz. Catherine was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church and was active in the Republican Party.
She is survived by a sister, Mary Marren of St. Louis, MO; sister-in-law, Irene Woodrum of Athens, IL and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 13, at the St. Francis Catholic Church. Father Tien Duong will officiate. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Springfield, IL.
Memorial donations can be made to a Hospice of your choice.
