Carolyn Fay Crane, 70, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010.
Born in Charlotte, NC, she was the daughter of the late Loada E. Lewis and Fay Morgan Lewis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Don Crane Sr.; daughter Susan Ivy Crane; son, Don Crane Jr. and siblings, Raymond E. Lewis, Dorothy Lewis and Jackie E. Lewis. Carolyn loved embroidery, needle point and playing cards. She was a member of Wells Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Leslie Scudder, Sherry Teta and Janet Norwood all of Franklin; son, Kevin Swinson of Mint Hill, NC; two sisters, Mildred McDaniel of Charlotte and Patricia Jo Harman of Columbia, SC; a brother, Howard L. Lewis of Matthews, NC; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 17, at Tellico Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Terry Dixon will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 11-12:00 p.m. Saturday morning at Macon Funeral Home.
