Carl Elton McMillan, 75, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018.

Born in Warren, TX he was the son of the late Lee McMillan and Rose Lee Whitmire. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Dub, Dan, Vernon, and Fred, and sister, Delores. Carl attended Tellico Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, and traveling.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Russell McMillan of Franklin; children, Charlie McMillan (Kim) of Cincinnati, OH and Joe McMillan (Karen) of Sand Point, AK; grandchildren, Jared, Logan, Jordan, Jenna, and Chance; brother, Tom; and sister, Beverly.

Graveside Service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 21, at Tellico Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Morris Tippett will officiate. Military Honors will be conducted by the VFW Post 7339 and the American Legion Post 108.
