Obituary
Brenda Woodard Ray, 57, of Franklin, passed away Monday, December 22, 2008.
Born in Macon Co, she was the daughter of the late Wayne Wright Woodard and Flonnie Jenkins Woodard Clark. Brenda was a dedicated RN and was active in Relay for Life. She was a member of West Franklin Church and served as Board of Directors for Helping Hands Ministries World Wide.
She is survived by her husband James Ray; Daughters, Amy Ray of Franklin and Janie Pressley and husband Darren of Sylva; four grandchildren, Paiton, Mallory, Ryleigh and Hunter.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 27, at West Franklin Church. Rev. Clifford Patterson and Rev. Bill Wooten will officiate.
Memorial donations may be made to Relay for Life, PO Box 1648, Franklin, NC 28744.
