Obituary
Bonnie Jo Kelly Tanner, 64, of Franklin, passed away Friday, January 22, 2010.
Born in Lakeland, FL, she was the daughter of Betty Jo McClelland Kelly of Valrico, FL and the late Percy Wendell Kelly. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a sister, Kristy Bartlett. She was a Christian, and a member of Cornerstone Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed art, drawing, and gardening, and most importantly she loved her family and friends.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 40 years, Bruce R. Tanner; two children, Brandon Tanner of Franklin and Benjamin Tanner and wife Wendy of Waynesville; two brothers, Pete Kelly of Valrico, FL and Steve Kelly of Brandon, FL; a sister, Jill Navratil of Dallas, Texas; and two grandchildren, Sophie Tanner and Mena Tanner.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 30, at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church. Rev. Ronald L. Odum will officiate.
Memorial donations can be made to the Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, 70 Trimont View Drive, Franklin, NC 28734.
