Obituary
Birdell Inez McClure Holland, 87, of Franklin, passed away Monday, June 20, 2011.
Born in Macon Co, she was the daughter of the late Lee McClure and Brunette McCoy McClure. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cleo Holland; daughter, Freda Estes and siblings, James, Ralph and Sherman McClure. Birdell cherished her family. She was a member of Goldmine Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Mashburn and husband Kenneth of Franklin; her son, Dean Holland and wife Susan of Asheville; brother, Everette McClure of Black Mtn; six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 23 at Goldmine Baptist Church. Rev. Alton Dendy will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
