Obituary
Billy Joe Butler, 58, of Franklin passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2020.
Born in Scott Co, KY, he was the son of the late William Lee Butler and Julie Marie Gross Butler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Louise Butler. Billy was a member of Black Mountain Baptist Church and enjoyed working with lawn mowers in his free time.
He is survived by a brother and four sisters who will miss him: Sammy Butler of Lexington, KY, Mayme Hobbs of Nicholasville, KY, Sarah Merritt of Lancaster, KY, Barbara Skinner of Lexington, KY and Pauline Crisp of Franklin, NC.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 pm, Monday, June 15th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Gary McCoy will officiate.
Macon Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
