Billie Bert Potts, 83, of Franklin, NC, passed away Friday, May 27, 2016.
Born in Franklin, NC, she was the daughter of the late Buren and Vernon Parrish Pruett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Beatrice Coates. Billie Bert was a funeral director from 1952-1970 at Potts Funeral Home and worked at Belden from 1970 until retirement. She loved gardening, sewing and fishing.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Ray Potts; one son, Tommy Potts (Fay) of Franklin, NC; brothers, Tom Pruett of Franklin, NC, Kenneth Pruett of Canton, NC, Bill Pruett of Asheville, NC; two grandchildren, Nick Potts and Nathan Huscusson; one great grandchild, Mallory Huscusson and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Tempe' Fussol will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m., Sunday, May 29, 2016, at Macon Funeral Home.
