Obituary
Betty Jean Young, 57, of Franklin, NC, entered into rest on Saturday, April 22, 2006.
A native of Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Georgie Howard Young. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Mike Howard. She attended Mountain Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by her brother, Gwen Howard of Franklin; two nieces, Robyn Keener of Franklin and Rhonda Phillips of Westminster, Maryland; five great nephews; two great nieces and two great-great nieces.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, at Mountain Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Gary McDaniel and Rev. Ben Cabe will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, at the church.
Pallbearers will be Danny Keener, Jim Henry, Doyle Young, Wardie Young, Dale Young and John Howard.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
