Obituary
Betty Ann Raby, 56, of Franklin, passed away Monday, February 25, 2008.
Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of Dewitt Bryant and Lillie Roper Bryant. Betty attended Community Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and loving grandmother. She enjoyed southern gospel music.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by husband of 37 years, Eddie Raby; two daughters, Christa Ledford and husband Bobby and Heather Gibson and husband Mike all of Franklin; two brothers, Paul Higdon and Bill Higdon both of Franklin; five grandchildren, Clay Gibson, Mallie Ledford, Blake Gibson, Lexy Gibson and Sarah Ledford; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 28, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Cecil Frady and Rev. Eddie Stillwell will officiate. Burial will be in the Burningtown Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Raby, Steve Raby, Billy Spears, Brad Spears, Brent Livingston and Howie Raby.
Memorial donations may be made to the Burningtown Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, C/O Bill Simonds, 279 Edwards Road, Franklin, NC 28734.
