Obituary

Betty Lou Clontz-Tabor, 74, of Bryson City, NC, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2020.

Born in Haywood Co, she was the daughter of the late Fred Clontz and Rosa Spain Clontz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Fred and Terry Putnam; daughter, Sheila Dianne Putnam Smalish and five brothers and sisters. Betty was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister; she loved her family immeasurably. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Thomas "Tom" Tabor; daughter, Callie Sneed of Covington, GA and eleven grandchildren, including granddaughter, Stormy Smith, whom Betty was very close to. Also surviving are sixteen great grandchildren and three nieces and nephews.
