Betty Jean Webb Browning, 75, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018.

Born in Jackson County, she was preceded in death by her parents, William Bert Webb and Mamie Trantham Webb; husband, Kenneth Browning; daughter, Regina Faith Browning; sister, Mary Ellis and four brothers and five other sisters. Betty was a member of Cowee Baptist Church. She was a good cook, devoted Christian and a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by three daughters, Jennifer Browning Sherrod and husband Ronnie, Jeania Browning Teague and husband Kelly, and Linda Nell Browning; sisters, Ethel McMahan and husband Bobby, and Barbara Shepherd and husband Ray; grandchildren, Gage Hudson Sherrod, Breanna Ashley Teague and fiancé Malcom Cail, Ethan Kane Teague and Kenneth Dawson Browning.

Funeral Service will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, August 15, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Jason Smith, Rev. Ronnie Branson and Rev. Eddie Stillwell will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 4:00-5:00 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Ethan Kane Teague, Kenneth Dawson Browning, Ronnie Sherrod, Kelly Teague, Malcom Cail and Gage Hudson Sherrod.
