Barbara Ruth O'Brien, 81, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2015.

Born in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Dewayne Mills and Gertrude Grammith Mills. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, John Forest, Jr. Barbara retired from Franklin Templeton Corporation where she worked as a secretary/technician and programmer. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; was an avid sports fan, enjoying NASCAR and NFL and she had a great love for drinking coffee. Barbara was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a friend to many.

She is survived by four children, Linda Buso (Neil) of Houston, TX; John Forest (Gale) of Margate, FL; Kathleen Tucker of Stuart, FL and Trudi Freimuth (William "Bo") of Franklin; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
