Obituary
Barbara Nowak, 73, of Franklin, passed away Friday, September 5, 2008.
Born in Lackawanna, NY, she was the daughter of the late Marcos Gomez and Lottie Jovicki Gomez. She attended First United Methodist Church. Barbara was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a wonderful lady who lived for her family.
She is survived by three children, Pam Moninghoff and husband Rick of Franklin, Scott Nowak of Franklin and Janet Frengel and husband Ralph of Vero Beach, FL; two sisters, Marguerite Pawlak of Lackawanna, NY and Anita Karovski of West Seneca, NY; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, September 9, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Dr. John Fowler and Rev. Marti Hatch will officiate. Burial will be in the Lakeside Cemetery, Hamburg, NY.
The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. Tuesday, at Macon Funeral Home.
