Obituary
The best Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Friend, and Role Model, Barbara MacNeill, received her wings, Wednesday, August 29, 2018. She has been an inspiration to all that had the privilege of knowing her and will be greatly missed.
Born in New York, NY on February 25, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Bruno Beckhard and Isabel McCormick Beckhard. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, William MacNeill and her brother, Richard Beckhard. She was a lifetime volunteer at Angel Medical Center, a member of the Presbyterian Women's Club and Extension Homemakers, a founding member of Otto Garden Club, and a volunteer with CarePartners Hospice for eight years.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Langford (Joe), of Franklin; granddaughter, Paige Krusoe (John), of Highlands Ranch, CO; and three great-grandchildren, Abigail, Mitchell, and Isabella.
Out of respect for her wishes there will be no formal service.
Memorial donations can be made to CarePartners Hospice, Appalachian Animal Rescue, or another charity of your choosing.
