Austin Ferrara, Jr., 65, of Franklin, passed away Friday, April 24, 2015.

Born in Manhattan, NY, he was the son of the late Austin Ferrara, Sr. and Theresa Ferrara. Austin enjoyed studying The Bible, singing, playing pool, making friends, cooking and sharing the gospel. He was a loving husband, loving father, loving grandfather and brother. He was always there to lend a helping hand. Loved all, loved by all, and will be dearly missed by all that knew him. Austin dedicated his life to his family and his Messiah.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Brenda J. Guy Ferrara; sons, Johnny Ferrara and Ross MacDonald and wife Bonnie all of Franklin; daughters, Kim Olsson and husband Brian, Sara Taylor and husband Shane and Jennifer Martin and husband Chris all of Franklin; sister, Carmel DiGiorno and husband Louis of Bronx, NY; ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 30, at Bethel United Methodist Church. Rev. Randy Campbell will officiate.
