Obituary
Arnfinn Sveen, 52, of Franklin, entered into rest on Friday, June 10, 2005.
A native of Lesja, Norway, he was the son of Anton Sveen and the late Jenny Sveen. Arnfinn owned and operated Adventures Travel Service. He was a member of St. Agnes Episcopal Church and served as a lay reader and vestryman. He was a member of Daybreak Rotary Club and was an avid golfer.
In addition to his father, Anton Sveen, he is survived by two children, Carey Sveen of New York City and Jackson Sveen of Franklin; one brother, Oskar Sveen; three sisters, Oddbjorg, Else and Aud; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 16, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Sherron Gieger will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Rotary Scholarship Fund, PO Box 375, Franklin, NC 28744.
