Obituary
Archie Laube, 79, of Summerfield, FL, passed away Friday, July 14, 2006.
A native of Grand Blanc, Michigan, he was the son of the late George Laube and Agnes Rhiness Laube. He was married to the late Ethel Elizabeth Edwards Laube who died March 29, 1994 and was preceded in death by a daughter, Ann Byrnes who died in 2001. He was a US Army Air Corp veteran. Archie retired in 1992 from Denton Construction Co. where he worked as a job foreman for 48 years.
He is survived by two daughters, Barbara J. Sichta of Acworth, GA and Catherine D. Austin of East Greenville, PA; seven grandchildren and two great granddaughters.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Jim Kinard will officiate. Burial will be in the Burningtown Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 17, at Macon Funeral Home.
