Anthony Ray Gravitt, 30, of Franklin, passed away Friday, November 25, 2016.

Born in Jackson Co, he was the son of Anthony Loren Gravitt, Jr. (Cheryl) and Sandra Robin Waldroop-Grawey (Scott). Anthony was a 2004 Franklin High School graduate, where he played football, played in the band and was an exceptional cheerleader; He went on to cheer at Western Carolina University. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and as an Oklahoma Sooners fan, he could always be found watching football. Anthony was a member of Cartoogechaye Church of God. He will be remembered for his infectious laugh, his welcoming embrace and love for life. He will be greatly missed and remembered by many.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by grandparents, Annie Harmon of Franklin, Alice Gravitt of Rossville, GA and Becky and Ivan Wischman of Waterford, MI; two brothers, Charles Joseph Blosser Jr. of Franklin and Michael Frederick Harris (Christin) of Pontiac, MI; nieces and nephew, Genevieve, Logan, Allison and McKenzie; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 29th at Cartoogechaye Church of God. Rev. Phillip Cochran and Rev. Robert Dryman will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

Pallbearers will be Joey Blosser, Zach "Remus" Williamson, Josh Bailey, Jake Lamb, Justin Burch, Dustin Cabe, Adam Gorski, Ronnie Reeding, Shannon Cromer, Mike Harris and Caleb "Pookie" Tallent.
