Annie Belle Bingham Scott, 77, of Macon County, passed away Friday, March 4, 2016. Born in Franklin, NC, she was the daughter of the late Richard Bingham and Elsie Dowdle Bingham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Scott; a brother, Richard "Dick" Bingham; sisters, Mary Dryman, Elma Bates, Sallie Passmore, Esta Mae Stepp and son in-law, Ben Beach. She was a member of Watauga Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Beach of Franklin, NC; sons, Terry Scott (Robin) of Franklin, Tracy Scott (Phelica) of Duncan, OK; a brother, Ted Bingham of Augusta, GA; sisters, Nelle Green of Franklin, NC, Birdie Suttle of Charlotte, NC, Mildred Russell of Albermarle, NC; three grandchildren, Stuart Beach, Hunter Scott, Ashlyn Scott; special niece, Elsie Hoxit of Sylva, NC; caregiver, Lupe' Olvera and other nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 8, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Terry Dixon, Rev. Don Moffitt and Rev. David Lee Williams will officiate. Burial will be in the Watauga Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 7, at Macon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Franks, Roy Mashburn, Steve Passmore, Brent Bradley, Billy Franks, Leslie Bryson, Mitchell Mashburn and Daniel "Boone" Williamson.
Honorary pallbearer will be Tommy Green.
