Annie Lou Huscusson Tallent, 76, of Franklin, entered into rest on Sunday, February 20, 2005.
A native of Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Cornelius and Margaret Edwards Huscusson. She was married to the late James H.Tallent, Jr. who died in 1996. In addition she was preceded in death by a sister, Pearl Frady and a brother, Paul Huscusson. She worked at Burlington and Blue Bell Industries for many years and after it closed she worked at Burcliff Industries until retirement. Annie was a devoted member of Iotla Baptist Church and she was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
She is survived by four children, James Douglas Tallent and wife Janet of Clarksville, TN, Margaret C. Cafarelli and husband Tom, Paul "Mike" Tallent and companion Debi Ledford and Patty Johnson and husband Jimmy all of Franklin; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, at Iotla Baptist Church. Rev. Steve Reeves and Rev. George Patterson will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 22, at Macon Funeral Home where the body will remain until placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Edgar Younce, Allan Demas, Spence Ledford, Don Conway, Jim Garner and Jerry Henson.
