Annie Cloer Ledford Conley, 85, of Franklin, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2006.

A native of Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Ceburn Cloer and Laura Ella McCracken Cloer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Ellis Ledford who died in 1977, second husband, Charlie Conley who died in 1985; infant son, Ricky Ellis Ledford; and five brothers, Glenn, Albert ,Johnny, Howard and William T. Cloer and two sisters, Lucy Cloer and Helen Ensley; two sons-in-law, Thomas Shuler and James Mashburn, Sr. ; one grandson, Tommy Shuler and cherished sister-in-law, Ruby Cloer. She was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. She loved flowers and gardening.

She is survived by four daughters, Rebecca Shuler of Sylva, Linda Tope and husband, Lee of Orion Township, Michigan, Mary Ellen Mashburn of Franklin and Frankie Mashburn and husband Marvin of Franklin; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, July 17, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Revs. Dennis Burrell, Tommy Fouts, Andy Cloer and Bobby Cloer will officiate. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Monday, prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home. At other times the family will be at the home of Frankie and Marvin Mashburn.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, David Shuler, Marty Mashburn, Rick Mashburn, Jonathan Tope, Shane Melton and Dustin Melton.

Honorary Pallbearers will be James Mashburn, David Mashburn and Preston Mashburn.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
