Obituary
Annie Lois Childers, 86, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2011.
Born in Macon Co. she was the daughter of the late Charles Shields and Elsie Duvall Shields. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Troy Shields and Charles Shields. Annie Lois wan an active member of Cowee Baptist Church since July 9, 1939. She loved to cook, garden and spend time with her family and friends.
Annie Lois is survived by her husband of 63 years, James Ernest Childers; daughter, Margaret Childers Revis and husband Jerry of Raleigh; sister, Pauline Shields Houston of Franklin; grandchildren, Kyle and Payton Revis both of Raleigh and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 18 at Cowee Baptist Church. Rev. Lloyd Fish and Rev. Ronnie Branson will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Sunday, April 17, at Macon Funeral Home.
