Annette R. Stanfield, 62, of Franklin, passed away Monday, January 14, 2008.
A native of Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Parker and Laura Tippett Raby. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, John Troy Raby. Annette was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was an Assistant Teacher with the Macon County Board of Education and she attended Watauga Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Bill Stanfield; two children, Mark Stanfield of Franklin and Selena Lisenbee and husband, Rodney of Weaverville, NC; two grandchildren, Daniel and Mitchell Stanfield; lifelong friend, Frances McIntyre-Bishop of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday January 16, at Watauga Baptist Church. Rev. Wesley Price and Rev. David Lee Williams will officiate. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:30-8 p.m., Tuesday, January 15, at Macon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Larry Bishop, Jackie West, Clyde McCall, Chip Varrichio, Bobby Cabe and Harley Rich.
Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Cullasaja Fire and Rescue.
