Anne Catherine Westlund, 87, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011.

Born in Adele, GA, she was the daughter of the late William Carter and Frankie Fry Carter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Westlund, Sr. and a son, Michael Victor Westlund. Anne was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She loved reading the bible, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with family, friends and church family.

She is survived by a son, James A. Westlund, Jr. and wife Barbara of Franklin; brother, Phil Carter of Port Orange, FL; three grandchildren, Carrie Westlund and companion, Wayne "Gus" Douglas of Winter Springs, FL, Jennifer Westlund Lucas of Franklin and Shelly Westlund Birmingham and husband Dennis of Franklin; seven great grandchildren, Caitlyn Smallwood, C.J. Smallwood, Autumn Boyce, Reiley Moon, Daylen Westlund, Aubreigh Lucas and Jazmyne Birmingham; three nieces, Sharon Westlund, Donna Ferris and Karen Lichauer; nephew, Eric Westlund; daughter-in-law, Barbara Westlund of Franklin and sister-in-law, Sharon Carter of Port Orange, FL.

Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, November 19, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Frank Rodriguez will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.
