Annabelle M. Hastings, 78, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015.

Born in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late George Alvarez and Suzanne Kahn Alvarez. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Peter Kapinos. Annabelle was a lifelong employee of the Southern Bell/AT&T phone company and in retirement was a realtor in Florida. She enjoyed golf, her pets and home projects. Annabelle was a Catholic by faith.

She is survived by her husband, Vaughn Robert Hastings; her daughter Karen Swanson of San Jose California and step-sons, Tony Cutshaw, of Allentown, PA and Jeffrey Hastings and David Hastings both of Cleveland, TN; brothers, Sam Alvarez of Florida and George Alvarez of Connecticut; sisters, Elaine Cocco and Debbie Boyne both of Connecticut; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 7th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in the Maidens Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
