Anna Marie Yates, 82, of Franklin, passed away Friday, January 30, 2009.
Born in Chesterfield, NY, she was the daughter of the late Perry Edward Hackett and Bessie M. White Hackett. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Yates; son, Bernard L. Mitchell; one brother and four sisters. She moved from Palatka, FL and has been living in Franklin for 20 years. Anna was a CNA; loved to crochet, knit, crossword puzzles and enjoyed wood working. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church.
She is survived by three children, Linda Mitchell of Franklin, Carol Bloodsworth and Perry J. Yates, both of Palatka, FL; sister, Pauline Barnard of Charlestown, NH; eleven grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Mass will be held Monday, February 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church. Father Tien Duong will officiate.
