Anna Mae Buchanan Brabson, 86, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012.

Born in Macon Co., she was the daughter of the late James Ellis Buchanan and Maude Welch Buchanan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Harry Alexander Brabson who died January 5, 2011; two brothers, Kenneth and Max Buchanan and sister, Pearl Campbell. Anna was a member of Prentiss Baptist Church. She was devoted to her family, church and neighbors.

She was the loving mother of, Jo Ann Bateman and husband Eddie of Franklin; four sons, James Brabson and wife Jane of Asheville, Roger Brabson and wife Pauline, Jerry Brabson and Nathan Brabson and wife Toni all of Franklin; grandmother of, Laura, Lisa, Sara, Jennifer, Amanda, Angela, David, Matt, Luke, Jackson and Eli and seven great-grandchildren. Anna is also survived by a sister, Thelma Smith of Franklin; three brothers, Wade Buchanan of Ft. Mills, SC, Branch and Raleigh Buchanan both of Franklin and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 24th at Prentiss Church of God. Rev. Tim Hayes , Rev. Don Moffitt and Rev. Randy Drinnon will officiate. Burial will be in Prentiss Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

Pallbearers will be James, Roger, Jerry and Nathan Brabson and Matthew and Luke Bateman.
