Obituary
Ann Gibson, 61, of Franklin, NC, beloved wife & mother, entered into God's Kingdom on Thursday, December 15, 2005.
A native of Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Henry B. Cabe and Verlie Roper Cabe. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Cabe. She worked for West Building Material as bookkeeper and was a member of Cartoogechaye Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Carson Gibson; two children, Danny Gibson and wife Lynn and Sherry Smith and husband Jason all of Franklin; three brothers, Harold Cabe of Durham, NC, Bobby Cabe of Magee, Mississippi and Frank Cabe of Franklin; two grandchildren, Ben Gibson and Anna Gibson both of Franklin.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 17, at Cartoogechaye Baptist Church. Rev. E.C. Chatham and Brother Robert Dryman will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, December 16, at Macon Funeral Home.
Memorial donations may be made to The Gideon's International, PO Box 372, Franklin, NC 28744.
Pallbearers will be Dink Houston, Ben Gibson, Justin Smith, Dustin Dills, Tim Cochran, Lance Bailey, Jamie Carpenter and Ken Shepherd.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Cody Dills, Matt Vinson, David Watson and Tim Brackett.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
