Amy Sue Ledford Cody, 59, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013.
Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Paul Ledford and Ida Patton Ledford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Lee "C.L." Cody who died December 29, 2012; infant son, Tony Lee Cody and brothers, Delano Bud, Ray, Lawrence, Wig and Buck Ledford. She loved to do word puzzles and was a member of Black Mountain Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for small children.
She is survived by two children, Brian Keith Cody and girlfriend, Savanna and Donna Sue Grant and husband Chris all of Franklin; two sisters, Maggie Mason of Franklin and Betty Worley of Otto; brothers, Charles "Curley" Ledford of Otto and Gene Ledford of Franklin and six grandchildren, Cameron Wayne Cody, Braden Lee Cody, Chasitiy Marie Davis, Summery Ann Davis, Kaitlyn Shephard and Simon and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 10 at Black Mountain Baptist Church. Rev. Danny Cannon, Rev. Ernie Jamison and Rev. Kael Stencil will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, February 9, at Macon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Mike "Bear" Carpenter, Michael Carpenter, Jeff Clark, David Ledford, Todd McConnell, Austin Price, David Price and Darren Worley.
Memorial donations can be made to Black Mountain Baptist Church Flower Fund.
