Amie Brooks Hall, 77, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2011.
Born in Jackson County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Brooks and Margaret Green Brooks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Iris Nations and Betty Nations and five brothers, Lewis Brooks, Allan Brooks, Eulas Brooks, Easley Brooks and Johnny Brooks. She was a member of Longview Baptist Church. Mrs. Hall loved to crochet, knit and sew.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Zeb Ernest Hall; three children, Debra Payne of Franklin, Dale Hall of Sylva and Sandra Cloer of Indian Trail, NC; sister, Stella Mae Buchanan of Sylva; five grandchildren, Page Blount and Mark Cloer of Indian Trail, NC, Darren Hall of Sylva, NC, Daniel Hall of Albuquerque, NM and Martha Ann Hall of Raleigh, NC; six great grandchildren, Ethan Blount, Andrew Birmingham, Jessica Birmingham, Christopher Cloer, Caitlin Cloer and Carolyn Cloer; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, February 14, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Larry Nations will officiate. Burial will be in the Greens Creek Cemetery, Jackson County, NC.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.
