Allie Marie Hedden Gibson, 91, of Franklin passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019.

Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late John Hedden and Ruie Woods Hedden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. James Wiley Gibson; ten brothers; and three sisters. Allie and her husband Wiley were active in the ministry and missions for over 50 years. She was a member of Windy Gap Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Freda Raby of Franklin, NC, Barbara June Raby (Tim) of Clarksville, GA, James Connie Gibson (Janice), Larry Gibson, and Kathie Gibson Parris all of Franklin; ten grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3 pm, Sunday, June 23 at Windy Gap Baptist Church. Rev. Mark Bishop and Rev. Carson Gibson will officiate. Burial will be in Shepherd Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Saturday, June 22 at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Brian Raby, Chad Gibson, Stacy Guffey, Nathan Gibson, Justin Gibson, and Landon Gibson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Alan Shepherd, Jerry Guffey, and Bruce Hedden.
