Obituary
Allen Kenneth "Buddy" Johnson, 84, of Franklin, NC, passed away at his home, Tuesday, December 26, 2006.
Born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, Buddy lived in Jacksonville, Florida since the age of 2 years old until moving to Otto 14 years ago. He was the son of the late Robert T. Johnson and Vera Orchard Johnson. Buddy was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII; was a member of the VFW, power squadron, and auxiliary patrol. He was a retired self-employed dental technician and was of the protestant faith.
He is survived by his wife, Laura M. Johnson; four children, Vera Thomas, Allen Johnson, Jr., Sandra Allen Holuck, and Amorette Nordin; eleven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
A Private graveside service will be held on Friday, January 5, at Green Lawn Cemetery, Jacksonville, FL.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
